Paul Stewart is the Owner and President of Absolute Ballroom Company in Naples, where his dance instruction includes: Smooth, Standard, Rhythm, Latin, Swing, C & W and club style dances. He is the President of the newly formed Swing Club of SW Florida, as well as the President of Florida Dance Champions, Inc., the organizer of Naples Star Ball, Sarasota Star Ball, and Naples Classic, Ballroom dance competitions. Paul also currently judges at West Coast Swing and Hustle events across Florida such as Tampa Bay Classic, Summer Swing classic, Floorplay Swing Vacation, O-Jam and IHSC.

Originally from Poplar Bluff, MO, Paul moved to Naples in 1986 and began his dance career in 1994. After years of professionally competing on the Ballroom, Swing and Country & Western circuits, he has a diverse dance perspective, skill and a unique level of expertise.

While competing professionally on the Ballroom circuit, he successfully made the finals in competitions such as Florida State Championships, Southeast Regionals, and Holiday Dance Classic in Las Vegas. His Country & Western awards include 6 Divisional Championship Titles, and placing 4^th in the 2003 UCWDC World Championships.

Paul retired from professional competition shortly after opening his own studio in September 2003. He now travels with his students around the world, competing in such exotic locations as Cuba, Buenos Aires, Cancun, London, Rome, Bermuda, Bahamas and Las Vegas. He has won dozens of Top Teacher awards at Pro-Am competitions across the country. Among those are the Florida Plus Top Teacher of the year 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009, and Top Teacher of the year in World Points 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2010, a National Title as awarded by World Promotions, Inc., as well as Top Teacher of the Year in the Florida Classic Series 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, as awarded by Dance Champions, Inc.. In addition, after only 8 years, Absolute Ballroom Company has won over 35 Top Studio Awards.

Johnny PerMar moved from Orlando, FL to join Absolute Ballroom Company in Naples in March of 2006. He has been teaching ballroom dancing for twenty years. His extensive training and background in Ballroom, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Swing is truly reflected in his well-rounded knowledge and love for dance. Together with his partner Lisa, they have many accomplishments, including 2008 Harborview DanceSport Profesional Open Champions, two-time Florida State West Coast Swing Champions, US National Division One Champions, and Second in US National Cabaret Division. Currently he teaches, judges, competes professionally and with students. He and his partner continue to demonstrate beautiful chemistry on the dance floor.

Lisa moved from Winter Haven, FL to join Absolute Ballroom Company in Naples in March of 2006. She began dancing and competing in the UCWDC circuit.  In 1993, she began teaching ballroom dancing where she gained love and knowledge of all dances. Over the years, she has successfully competed in numerous competitions and continues to dedicate many hours to her dancing. Together with her partner Johnny, they have many accomplishments, including 2008 Harborview DanceSport Professional Open Champions, two-time Florida State West Coast Swing Champions, US National Division One Champions, and Second in US National Cabaret Division.
